A prosthesis can make a difference in the life of a person who needs it, but the cost limits the number of users who can access one. The arm prostheses with the lowest rate of abandonment in their use are the electronic ones, but they can cost up to $60,000.

ARM2u is a group of students from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and we have designed and manufactured a low-cost electronic arm prosthesis.

How do we manage to design and develop the prosthesis? How do we control it? Does it have the same functionalities as a commercial prosthesis? What are our next objectives?
