In recent years, the Maker Movement has reached education and everything indicates that it has come to stay, since it democratizes many tools and resources that help students acquire the demanded STEAM skills.

At this table we have the opportunity to have four outstanding speakers who will share with us very different and at the same time complementary realities, to understand how to bring this knowledge to the students.

Catalina Gost

Biologist and teacher at VermisLAB where she teaches science and technology classes to makers from 4 to 16 years old and is part of the didactics area. She also participates in the Roteiro Maker project and in the organization of the Maker Faire Galicia.

Conchi Fernández

Professor of Technology at the Department of Education of the Xunta de Galicia and currently developing her work from a teacher training consultancy linked to STEM/STEAM projects and the transformation of educational spaces.

Patricia Heredia

An engineer passionate about technology, innovation and education, this together with her creativity led her to co-found the startup MiniVinci, a space where children and young people learn STEAM disciplines and share knowledge in a creative way.

Trinidad A. Gómez

Graduated in Architecture from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla and Co-founder and director of Fab Lab Maya, Digital Manufacturing Laboratory developing social and educational programs to boost the economy of Handicrafts in the Mayan Zone of Mexico.
