Everything indicates that 2021 will be the year of recovery in Europe, both because of the beginning of the end of the pandemic and because of the now famous Next Generation recovery fund. One of the key points in this fund is digitization, which will allow us to generate more opportunities, be more agile and be more interconnected.

How these funds are going to be channeled, what companies or projects will be eligible for them or what place open source occupies in all this are some of the questions that will be answered at this table, which will serve to inaugurate the digitization day.

Antonio Novo

Antonio Novo combines his training as a technologist and psychologist to develop his professional life around Collaborative Innovation through Clusters. Antonio is Managing Director of the Cluster IDiA, which brings together 81 Aragonese  companies and institutions that collaborate in the development of ICT projects. He holds the presidency of the of the European Cluster Alliance and of Clusters.es, the Spanish Federation of Clusters. He is also member of the EU Industrial Forum, the Expert Group on Clusters of the European Commission and the CMMI (Consultative Commission on Industrial Change) in the European Economic and Social Committee.


María Eugenia Mijares

María Eugenia Mijares is the Head of Institutional Relations and Development at DIHGIGAL, the hub for the digital transformation of Galician industry. M Eugenia has developed her career between the public sector (Ministry of Economy-ICEX, Chamber of Commerce and IGAPE) and the private sector, participating in the configuration of different industrial strategies and advising institutions, entrepreneurs, companies and clusters. The foregoing has provided him with a deep understanding of both business and sector needs as well as the different European, national and regional policies including their strategy, planning and development instruments, from the legislative level to the search for the greatest business impact. Therefore, she has extensive experience in the configuration of innovative initiatives and competitive improvement within the ecosystem of Industry 4.0 and digitization. M Eugenia has a Law Degree, Master in European Studies and Gold Label Expert at ESCA (European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis)


 

 


Carlos Vega

He is currently Director of Communication at Conecta Industria, he is also Director of CITECH, Summit of Industry and Technology, and president of Makers Asturias, which was founded after the first edition of Citech and which already has more than 50 partners.


 

 


Salvador Naya

Graduated in Mathematics from the University of Santiago de Compostela (1986) and PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of A Coruña (2003). The vice-rector for Scientific Policy, Research and Transfer since 2016 at the University of A Coruña. STATISTICS AND RESEARCH OPERATIVE SOCIETY AWARDS (SEIO) -BBVA FOUNDATION. Best applied contribution in Statistics 2020. Currently, since his work as Vice Chancellor, he is president of the Technological Institute of Industrial Mathematics (ITMATI) and of the CITIC Foundation.
