The video game as a cultural product. That is the premise with which Recuncho Gamer was born. In this talk, its director, Iago Gordillo, talks about the possibilities of making audiovisual content for the different social networks and what unique characteristics and possibilities the video game medium has for this type of content. From videos to live streams, from one-minute TikToks to two-hour podcasts. And always seeking to bring the video game closer to a larger audience and discarding prejudices.


Iago Gordillo

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Coruña, he worked in media such as Radio Coruña Cadena SER or La Voz de Galicia, combining technical and communicative tasks. And he also participated in the sound section of award-winning web series such as Galicia Crimen, Amnesia 3.0 or the video game Plumaje, for which he composed the soundtrack. He is the director of Recuncho Gamer, the audiovisual project in Galician on video games that seeks to disseminate video games in an entertaining way, understanding them as a cultural product in which many arts converge.
