The accelerated digitization process that we carried out in the last year made us rethink how to do things in education. We have discovered many tools and technologies to apply in the classroom, approaching a future that until now was only a dream.

At this table we will be able to reflect, from the perspective of experts in different technologies, on everything that has been done and everything that can be done in the coming years with the help of technological tools such as artificial intelligence, neurotechnology or virtual reality.



Amparo Alonso Betanzos

Chemical Engineer, researcher in artificial intelligence, President of the Spanish Association of Artificial Intelligence (AEPIA) and coordinator of the research group LIDIA (Laboratory of R&D in Artificial Intelligence) of the Faculty of Informatics of the University of La Coruña (UDC) .

Rocío Lozano

I am specialized at a training level in General Health Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. Likewise, my professional experience has allowed me to specialize in legal psychology and social psychology, designing projects for minors in situations of social exclusion and in conflict with the law. I am currently co-founder of the Chapter of NeurotechX (international organization of neurotechnology) in Galicia whose purpose is to generate a community of scientific dissemination and create networking between the different professionals that concern the field of neurotechnology (professionals in the clinical and technological field).

Julia Taboada

Julia Taboada has a degree in Physics from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Her professional activity has always been linked to the world of innovation and technological inclusion in the educational context. She has been a teacher of Technology in public secondary education for more than 10 years. In 2011 she changed teaching for advice and became part of the educational innovation team at the Department of Education of the Xunta de Galicia. From here she promoted methodological actions whose objective was to seek a more practical approach to learning in the classroom. Her concern to connect the school with the society that the students will face, led her to focus on STEM (a methodology that combines the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics), where some of the most demanded professions in the world are probably found. future. Thus, since 2018 she is a STEM advisor in the Department and one of the people responsible in Galicia for the programs that are proposed to educational centers for the promotion of innovation and promotion of future STEM vocations.
