I was born in A Estrada (Pontevedra) in 1959, and since 1979 I have lived in the village of Cornido (Carnota, A Coruña). This is where my relationship with ceramics began. Creativity and the search for a form of personal expression have been the fundamental basis of my work, along with the learning and development of different techniques.

Dr. Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Vigo. Professor of the University School at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (1992-1996). He has given lectures and seminars at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), where he did a research stay in 2000. Founding partner of the company Sound of Numbers, a company dedicated to the development of acoustic software (SONarchitect) and consultancy and integration of artificial intelligence acoustic systems in industry Since 1996, Full Professor at the School of Telecommunications of the University of Vigo, where he teaches Architectural Acoustics and Advanced Acoustics.

Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering with a mention in Sound and Image from the University of Vigo, in 2021 I finished the Master's Degree in Industrial Mathematics specialized in Modeling and Numerical Simulation in Acoustics. Currently, I work for Marine Instruments as part of my industrial doctorate in Acoustics, directed by Andrés Prieto and Luis Hervella, being a student at the Universidade da Coruña within the official doctoral program in mathematical methods and numerical simulation in engineering and applied sciences. In addition, she belongs to the M2 NICA group within the Mathematics Department of the UDC and is part of the research staff in training at the CITMAga research center.


Elena Vázquez

M. Elena Vázquez Cendón (Ourense, 1966). She is a student at the IES As Lagoas in Ourense. She has a degree and a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from USC. University Professor in the area of Applied Mathematics. Member of the Research Group in Mathematical Engineering. Researcher attached to the CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND MATHEMATICAL TECHNOLOGY OF GALICIA (CITMAga). General Coordinator of the Master in Industrial Mathematics (USC, UDC, Uvigo, UC3 M and UPM). Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics. President of Estalmat-Galicia. Member of the plenary session of the Galician Women and Science Unit and the plenary session of the Galician Culture Council where she coordinates the Science, Technology, Nature and Society Section.


Selina Otero

Professional experience including abroad conference coverages (both Press and Event Management purposes) in the United Kingdom, Morocco, New York, Portugal, Brussels or Shanghai, among others.
