Eldara Rodríguez Cobo

PhD in Chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela, with almost 20 years of research experience, first in the USC NANOMAG group and later in the private sector in the R&D Department of NANOGAP (USC spin-off dedicated to the development and manufacture of nanomaterials).

She is an enthusiast of Innovation and Technology Transfer, in 2006 she participated in the founding of NANOGAP and from 2016 she became the Innovation Manager, taking charge of project management, intellectual property and knowledge transfer.


Álvaro Goyanes

Álvaro Goyanes is a professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Santiago de Compostela. He is also a director and co-founder of FabRx, the first company dedicated to 3D printing personalized medicines, and an honorary professor at University College London – School of Pharmacy (UK). Álvaro was one of the first researchers to evaluate the opportunities of 3D printing to manufacture medicines and has published more than 70 articles. He has been named to Web of Science's list of the world's most influential researchers since 2019 and is a recognized world expert in drug 3D printing with more than 100 communications at international conferences. He has a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Santiago de Compostela and worked for 3 years as an Assistant Pharmacist, so he has first-hand knowledge of the medication needs of patients in pharmacies.


Patricia Fraga María

Graduated in Biology and MSC Biotechnology from USC. During her first years, she had the opportunity to gain research experience, collaborating with the USC in the Department of Plant Physiology. Later she worked in the spin off of USC Software 4 Science Developments, a company related to the development of biophysical software for the thermodynamic @ characterization of molecules and drug development. She currently works at DIH DATAlife as a consultant for projects related to the field of health and biotechnology. The objective of DATAlife is the implementation of disruptive technologies such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, HPC... and to promote the exchange of knowledge between different agents (universities, SMEs, large companies and/or technology centers).


Julio Martínez Rumbo

Graduated in Biology from the University of La Coruña and MBA in business management and entrepreneurship. During his professional career he has worked in different areas and sectors, acquiring a transversal vision of the business world linked to science and innovation. For 5 years he has been working as a Project Manager in the Cluster Tecnolóxico Empresarial das Ciencias da Vida (Bioga) developing the integral management of cluster projects, the organization of events and activities and the writing of reports and sector strategies, as well as the monitoring of policies of innovation related to biotechnology and life sciences, both regionally and internationally.
