Project summary

EKO v3.0 is a humanoid robot with a height of 1.50 m, a weight of 40.5 kg and 15 degrees of freedom.

It has been developed in the Technological Innovation Club.

 

What is the project about?

Eko is designed as a teaching aid, making learning significant in different aspects.

In preschool, it will support students in the formative field or in mathematical thinking, developing, for example, laterality, knowledge of colours, spatial location, etc.

In the case of Primary Education, knowledge such as learning cities and capitals, multiplication tables or environmental care, among others, can be developed.

How does the project work? (Technologies used, user experience, etc.)

Eko can interact with humans and even make presentations and speeches to fit perfectly into any setting. It has facial and object recognition. The robot can be operated autonomously or via an Android device.

No need to adapt the environment, Eko can move freely in crowded environments, especially indoors and has a battery backup of 3 hours.
