What is the project about?

The inclock is a project designed to help children with hearing difficulties. This concept consists of a watch that is connected to bluetooth modules, capable of perceiving noises from those sounds, with the help of an AI, which can deduce from what object, person, action, etc. that sound comes from. When it is detected, a warning will be sent to the user on the clock screen, with the necessary information to identify that sound. At the moment our prototype only has the bluetooth module and the clock, the goal is to make life easier for children with hearing disabilities.



What is the purpose of this project?

The purpose of this project is to improve the inclusion of children with hearing disabilities in school, giving them greater independence.



How does the project work? (Technologies used, user experience, etc.)

The bluetooth receivers will send a notice to the clock screen with the necessary information to identify the sound that has been perceived.

-Javascript

The watch will be worn on the wrist in such a way that when a certain sound is heard, the AI ​​can deduce what sound it is. Via bluetooth it sends a signal to the watch that tells you with an image and vibrations what sound it is.

 

What does this project contribute to the Maker Community?

All the technologies used in this project are open source, so any other maker could freely reproduce this project and improve it.
