A few days before the Maker Faire Galicia 2021 begins, we would like to share with you some news and details of how our online platform works, so that you can enjoy the experience to the fullest.
As in the previous edition, once you log in to the platform you will have two browsing possibilities, on the one hand the classic one, which is currently available on the page, and on the other hand the 3D one, which we will enable just before let the event begin.
To enjoy all the contents, from accessing a live video call with an exhibitor, watching a talk or participating in a workshop, you will simply have to access its file. Once there, press the "connect live" button at the corresponding time or "recorded content" at any time and you will be able to access the content. In addition to this and with the purpose of making the most of the Maker Faire Galicia 2021, we have developed a couple of novelties that we will discuss below.
New system to request a meeting:
During the industry conferences we have enabled an agenda system with which you will have the possibility to book an appointment, at the time you have the most availability, with the creators of the 10 selected projects.
The operation is very simple, once you log in to the platform, you only have to go to the exhibitor you want to meet with and press the request meeting button. There you can choose between the available slots and click the one that best suits your availability. At that time an email will arrive to the exhibitor confirming the meeting time.
New chat to interact with exhibitors:
In this edition and during all the days, we are going to add a chat window to the file of each exhibitor, so that you can interact with him and have an alternative channel to the video call. As in the previous case, to use it you will need to log into our platform.
