In the project "Dio con luz" the students develop in a game their own fibre optic communication system. Although on a much smaller scale, this system is very similar to the one that connects computers on all continents and makes the Internet possible. They will be able to send information in the form of light pulses through fibre optics, and they will do so using their own light-signalling language, or, as the experts would say, their own "protocol".
Maximum capacity 12 participants.
Seating capacity is limited by the needs of the workshop and the organiser of the activity. For this reason, each workshop can have a certain capacity without depending on the space it occupies.
Registration in person on a first come, first served basis until 10 minutes before the activity.
If you do not show up 5 minutes before the start of the activity, your place will be released.
Registration will be open from 9:30 am onwards.
RED ZONE
All the activities are free of charge and are part of the programme of the Espazo Maker Compostela, an activity organised by the City Council of Santiago within the framework of the Urban Agenda 2030 of Santiago.
